Procrastinated Picture Post

Ok, so here's another marathon picture post. But you're gonna love 'em!

Jordan's first date! :) He asked Kayla Beckett to their high school formal. He and his friends "heart attacked" her yard, and then he just went to the door and asked. She said yes!

I told him he should take her the classic flowers and candy. But it was Sunday, and we had neither, so instead he went with the next best thing... a "flower" (Jeff Flores), and a quesadilla!

And here's the actual day. Yes, I took a lot of pictures. This is a mere fraction.

We do have other kids.... Jordan has just had a lot going on! This is his Eagle project. He put up a "trail minder" fence at Crystal Cove State Park. 

Hailey was on the color guard at school this year. She liked it and was pretty good at it; she had the solo in their routine.

Bret and I went for a ride in the Jeep with Jace and Jaxon one day. It was a beautiful spot... Can't think what it's called right now...

For Jaxon's birthday, we had a party at Sky High, which is a place that is practically wall to wall (including the walls) trampolines. They had so much fun! I was just relieved that there were no broken bones.

We took another trip to Catalina Island for a family celebration of Jaxon's and Bret's birthdays. We took a ride in a semi-submersible sub, but the highlight was snorkeling.

While we were snorkeling, the sub we had been on came by, so the kids swam up to the windows with the fish. :) Not sure how the passengers felt about paying for the ride to look at some goofy kids.

And, while we don't have a lot of photographic documentation for Jace, he's been busy too. He's wrapping up his Senior year of high school, getting his EMT certification, and was accepted at BYU. We're all pretty proud of him!
