We've really had a fun summer, and it's gone by so fast! School starts again next week, and we've got fun planned right up until the end.
Grandma and Grandpa Webster; Stelene, Bryce and the kids; and Cache Summers are all here visiting. We've been to Sea World, the beach, and Disneyland so far. Cache, Jace, and Jordan went to Knott's Berry Farm today, we'll be whale watching on Friday, and heading to Universal Studios on Saturday. When it's all over, and the kids are back in school.... I think I'll take a nap!
Ok, so these pictures of Sea World are actually from earlier this year because I forgot my camera this time... whoops.
We went to one of our favorite beaches, Crystal Cove.
This year we were in Rexburg for the 4th of July... which, if you're from Rexburg, is the best place to be for the 4th! The whole community comes out for the same traditions that have been going on since... I don't know... before my lifetime.
First it's the parade....

Yes, of course the parade includes Darth Vader. Why not?
....then the picnic at Porter Park....
....the rodeo in the evening....
....and of course, fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
This year we also added an historical field trip.
The new military memorial that's recently been built in Smith Park.
Grandpa Webster's brother, Lynn
And his dad Mark Webster
This is also in Smith Park.
The next day Bret and I left for our anniversary trip, and the kids spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa Webster, and some time with Grandma Nielson. Sadly, no pictures with Grandma Nielson...

This is the awesome playhouse Grandpa built for the kids. You could live in there!

Brynlee and Gharrett Lawrence
On our way back home, we stopped at Lagoon in Salt Lake City, then said our good-byes to Grandma and Grandpa, and the Lawrence family. What a great trip that was for all of us!
Jace and Gharrett
Jaxon and Kaidon
Hailey and Brynlee
Kissing cousins
Later this summer, we found a great place... Pismo Beach. It's the only place in California where you can camp and ride quads right on the beach. It's more than just a beach, there are huge sand dunes as well. I'm sure we'll be back!
We were there with some friends, Christina and Ruben....
....And Megan and Brett and their kids
What a summer full of great memories!
